I was born in Kagoshima, Japan and moved to Toronto, Canada in 1988. Since then I have worked for the Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books, Toronto Public Library. I enjoy living with my super-partner Jason Nolan. My personal interests are indoor rockclimbing, anything about animals, children's books and lives of early Canadian women authors.
