オンタリオ州ノーヴァル村に住んでいた頃のモンゴメリを描いたL.M. Montgomery: The Norval Years, 1926-1935が６月15日発刊予定です。
著者Deb Quaileさんからメールをいただきました。どうやらスクラップスタイルの写真満載の本のようです。
現在のところメアリー・ルビオ博士のモンゴメリ最新伝記がまだ発刊されていないので、このL.M. Montgomery: The Norval Years, 1926-1935を見れば、モンゴメリの後半生がかいま見られることになります。楽しみですね〜。

L.M.モンゴメリの生み出した主人公達の中で最も作者に近いと言われているのが、詩人／作家を目指すエミリー。
そのエミリーのミュージカルが5月18日から6月3日（または４日）にかけて上演される。トロント北にあるバリー／Barrieの街にあるTalk is Free Theatreにて。ちなみにエミリーのお誕生日は5月19日であります。

確か、愛知万博へ行かれたことのあるカナダの女優Jennifer Toulminさん主演の「赤毛のアン」ミュージカルが、現在上演中。5月3日から6月10日。場所は、カナダはオンタリオ州ドレイトンの街にあるドレイトンフェスティバルシアター。
ドレイとンはトロントからドレイとンは車で数時間ってとこでしょうか。
